LT Grade Assistant Teacher – 10768 posts
Eligibility Criteria : The applicant must be a graduate in relevant discipline and must possess a B.Ed or equivalent certificate from a recognized University/Institution.
Pay Scale : The selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Scale of Rs 9300 – Rs 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4800/- and Other Allowances.
Age Limit : 21-40 years as on 01-07-2018. Age relaxation as per rules.
Application Fee: In the ON-LINE Application process, after completing the procedure of first stage, Category wise prescribed examination fee is to be deposited as per instructions provided in second stage.
(i). Unreserved / Other Backward Class – Exam fee Rs. 100/- + On-line processing fee
Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 125/-
(ii).Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe – Exam fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing fee
Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-
(iii). Handicapped – Exam fee NIL + On-line processing fee
Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 25/-
(iv). Dependents of the Freedom Fighters/ Ex-Serviceman/ Women – According to their original category.
How to apply : Log on http://uppsc.up.nic.in to access the home page of the “Candidate Segment”. Click “All Notifications/Advertisements” menu to view all details of notifications where you can select to Apply for any of the listed notification by clicking on the link “Apply” against each notification.
First Stage : On clicking “Apply”, Candidate Registration will be displayed. Basic Registration form will be displayed on clicking the ‘Candidate Registration’ respective to Examination. After being fully satisfied with all the informations filled, click on ‘Submit Application’.
Second Stage: After the completion of the procedure of first stage, ‘Fee to be deposited [in INR]’ shall be displayed with caption “Click here to proceed for payment”. Complete the payment process.
Third stage: On completion of the procedure of second stage, click on “Proceed for final submission of application form” as a result of which ‘format’ shall be displayed. The candidates are required to enter all the required informations in the format. The photo and
signature, duly scanned shall be uploaded also. Complete the process by clicking ‘Submit’ button. The candidates are not required to send their hard copy of On-Line application alongwith self attested copies of certificates to the commission.
Exam Pattern : There will be one question paper of multiple choice objective type and each question will carry 01 Marks. The aforesaid Question paper will be divided into two parts:
Part first (1) : General Studies – 30 Questions (Objective Type)
Part second (2) : Main Subject – 120 Questions (Objective Type)
Total Number of Questions Part-I & Part-II : 150
Time Period – 2.00 hrs. (120 Minutes)
Maximum Marks – 150
For the post of Assistant Teacher, Social Science (Men/Women Branch), there shall be 04 sections in the main subject viz. Geography, History, Economics and Civics comprising of 60 questions in each section. The candidates shall choose any 02 sections out of the aforesaid 04 sections and answer them.
